Diego is a PhD student at the Neuro-Cardiovasculary Intelligence Lab of the Research Center E. Piaggio. His research is under the the frame of the Marie Skolodowska-Curie Actions project RHUMBO.
His work is about the development of new neurometrics based on the Autonomous Nervous System activity in order to understand the Brain-Heart Interplay and their possible applications in the assessment of cognitive states.
His interests go from fundamental science, such as the neural implementation of consciousness, to more applied research on decision making in real life environments.
