Course description
The IEEE-EMBS International Summer School on Advanced Data Analytics in Physiology is organized by the IEEE EMBS Technical Community on Biomedical Signal Processing and the IEEE EMBS Technical Community on Cardiopulmonary Systems and Physiology- based Engineering. This unique program offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers both fundamental and advanced topics in physiological data analytics, including:
-
Advanced Signal Processing: Techniques and methods for analyzing complex biomedical signals.
-
Cardiopulmonary System Modeling: Understanding and simulating the dynamics of the cardiopulmonary system.
-
Cardiovascular Signal Processing: Analysis and interpretation of cardiovascular mathematics for clinical and research applications.
-
Neural Data Analysis: Exploring data-driven approaches to understand neural signals and brain activity.
-
Brain-Heart Axis Modeling: Investigating the interactions between neural and cardiovascular systems.
-
Physiology-based Statistical Inference: Applying statistical methods to physiological data for robust conclusions.
-
Multiscale and Complex System Network Modeling: Analyzing physiological systems across different scales and understanding their interconnections.
The summer school is designed for graduate and PhD students, as well as post-doc researchers and professionals seeking to enhance their expertise in biomedical data.
Aim
The aim of the IEEE-EMBS International Summer School on Advanced Data Analytics in Physiology is to provide participants with a deep understanding of advanced data analytics techniques applied to physiological systems.
The program is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, empowering attendees to tackle complex challenges in biomedical signal processing, physiological modeling, and data-driven healthcare solutions.
By bringing together leading experts, the school aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, inspire innovative research, and equip participants with cutting-edge skills essential for advancing the field of biomedical data analytics.
